The biggest challenge was deduplication. Appraisers often have multiple licenses across states, so we had to merge records intelligently. We wrote an algorithm that matches on name, address, and license number to avoid duplicates. We also added a 'last verified' timestamp so you know when we last checked each record. It's not perfect—no data is—but it's the best you'll find without paying a fortune for a custom scrape.
