Scraping crypto exchange B2B leads is a minefield. Most exchanges hide their corporate contact info behind KYC walls. We had to combine C-level LinkedIn scraping with SEC/FINRA filings and press releases. The result? A list of 2,300+ exchanges and 14,000 decision makers, but only if we filtered out the dead ones. Took 6 weeks to crack the pattern.

The tricky part was deduplication. Exchanges have multiple entities (holding company, trading desk, OTC desk). We built a fuzzy match algo that groups them by parent company. Also, we had to cross-check against the FCA and MAS warning lists. That cut 12% of our initial list. Better to sell to a legit exchange than a scam that'll bounce your emails.

We scrape on the 1st of every month. The data includes direct office emails (not the generic info@), verified phone numbers, and LinkedIn URLs. But here's the kicker: 30% of crypto exchange emails are disposable. So we validate them via SMTP and remove the bounces. You get a clean file, no junk. I'm not going to claim 100% accuracy, but we're at 92% deliverability.

Data Schema & Dictionary

Exchange Name

Legal entity name as registered. Don't confuse with brand name – this is what you'll find in legal docs. Important for compliance and not appearing like an amateur.

Parent Company

Ultimate parent if it's part of a group. Helps you avoid selling to the same company twice. Also gives you a bigger fish to target.

Exchange Brand

The consumer-facing name (e.g., Binance, Coinbase). Use this in your email greeting. Don't be the guy who calls Binance 'Binanace'.

Country of Registration

Where the entity is legally incorporated. Not the same as where they operate. Useful for jurisdiction-based sales pitches (e.g., 'We help you with MiCA compliance').

Operating Countries

Countries where the exchange actually operates. Some are global, some are restricted. Helps you segment by target market.

Headquarters Address

Physical address. Good for sending physical mail (old school but sometimes works) or checking if they're in a co-working space (red flag).

Decision Maker Name

Name of the person in charge (CEO, CTO, Head of Compliance). We scrape from LinkedIn and press releases. May not be the direct buyer – but they can forward your email.

Decision Maker Title

Their job title. Helps you tailor your pitch (e.g., 'For CTOs, talk about API integration; for compliance, talk about onboarding').

Direct Email

The email we found from an official source. Verified to not bounce. This is the one you want. Don't waste time on info@.

Phone Number

Direct line or switchboard. Useful for follow-up. But remember, crypto folks prefer email. Use phone only if they've ignored 3 emails.

LinkedIn URL

Profile link for the decision maker. Use it for manual outreach or to connect. Don't rely on automation – LinkedIn hates that.

24h Trading Volume (USD)

Approximate volume from CoinMarketCap. Gives you a sense of their size. Big volume means they have money to spend.

Number of Employees

Headcount from LinkedIn. Helps you gauge if they're a startup or a serious player. Under 50 employees – probably bootstrapped.

Regulatory Status

Flags if they are licensed, under investigation, or on a warning list. Avoid selling to exchanges that might get shut down – your deliverability will suffer.

Last Scraped Date

Date we last updated this row. If it's older than 3 months, consider it stale. We refresh monthly, so you're good.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fresh is this data?
We scrape on the 1st of every month. If you buy it mid-month, you're getting last month's pull. That's the tradeoff for accuracy. If you need real-time, we don't offer that – go build your own scraper. But for email campaigns, monthly is fine.
Do you guarantee email deliverability?
No, and anyone who does is lying. We validate emails via SMTP before we ship the file. Our bounce rate is around 8%, which is industry standard. If you get a bounce within 7 days of purchase, we'll swap that lead for a fresh one. Simple.
Is this GDPR compliant?
We only collect business contact info that's publicly available – from official registries, press releases, and LinkedIn. We're not scraping personal data. Still, you're responsible for how you use it. If you spam people, that's on you. We've had lawyers review our process, and we're clean.
Can I get a sample before buying?
Yes, we'll send you 20 random rows so you can see the quality. But don't expect us to give away the full list. We're a business, not a charity. If you want the good stuff, pay up.
How do you handle updates?
We don't offer subscriptions. You buy the CSV, it's yours. But if you want fresh data later, you can buy again. We might offer a subscription if enough people ask. Until then, one-time purchases only.
