Data Schema & Dictionary

company_name

The official legal name of the company. Don't expect it to be pretty or short. It's what they file with the state. Sales reps use this to look up the company in their CRM.

domain

The primary website domain. We strip the www. and https://. This is the key to matching with other tools like Clearbit or ZoomInfo. If it's a .co or .io, don't be surprised.

employee_count

Approximate headcount based on LinkedIn and government data. It's a range, like '51-200' or '1001-5000'. Good for filtering out tiny startups that won't buy enterprise software.

industry

The NAICS code and label. We've already mapped it to a human-readable name like 'Software' or 'Healthcare'. Useful for segmenting your outreach.

city

The city where the company's headquarters is located. We don't do regions or states here. If you need that, you can join with a zip code table.

state

Two-letter state abbreviation. Obvious, but someone always asks. We have all 50 states, plus DC and Puerto Rico.

zip_code

Five-digit USPS zip code. Essential for mailing lists or territory assignment. We've verified it against USPS data, so it's accurate.

salesforce_edition

Which Salesforce product they use: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc. We detect this from public job postings and tech stack analyzers. It's not 100% precise, but it's a solid hint for cross-sell opportunities.

We scrape it on the 1st of the month. If it bounces, tell us and we swap the credit. Simple. Also, we run a weekly check on domains to catch obvious dead ones, but don't expect real-time updates.
