Scraping hotel emails was a pain because most sites hide them behind contact forms or use obfuscated mailto links. We had to build a headless browser that renders the page, waits for the JS to load, and then extracts the mailto href. Took us a month to get it right, but now we pull from 40k+ hotel websites daily.

The hardest part wasn't the scraping itself—it's deduplication and validation. Hotel chains have multiple emails for reservations, events, and corporate. We wrote a script that cross-references the email domain with the hotel's official domain and runs a regex for common patterns. Still, about 3% slip through as invalid, which is why we offer a bounce-back credit.

We started this because every 'hotel email list' on the market is either stale or full of generic info@ addresses that get ignored. So we built a scraper that targets the direct booking department email, the one that actually replies to tour operators and corporate clients. It's not perfect, but it's way better than anything else out there.

Data Schema & Dictionary

hotel_name

The legal name of the hotel as it appears on their official site. Useful for personalizing your outreach and avoiding the 'Dear Sir/Madam' crap.

booking_email

The direct email address for the reservations or booking department. This is the one that actually gets read by a human, not a generic inbox that gets spammed to death.

hotel_website

The official website URL. Use it to cross-reference details or look up additional contacts if you need to reach a different department.

phone_number

The main switchboard number. Handy for when email bounces and you need to call and ask for the right person.

star_rating

The hotel's star rating (1-5). Helps you segment your pitch—luxury hotels have different pain points than budget hostels.

city

The city where the hotel is located. Obvious, but you'd be surprised how many lists get this wrong.

country

The country code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2). Use it for geo-targeting or GDPR compliance checks.

last_verified

The date we last confirmed the email is still valid. If it's older than 6 months, expect some bounces.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fresh is this data?
We run a full scrape on the 1st of every month, and then a validation pass on the 15th. So worst case, an email is 30 days old. If you get too many bounces, tell us and we'll swap those records for new ones. Fair enough?
Can I filter by hotel chain or independent?
Sort of. We don't have a specific 'chain' column, but the hotel_name often includes the brand. You can use our CSV filter in Excel or just write a quick script to group by known brand names. Not perfect, but it works.
Do you include GDPR consent?
No. We scrape public data from official sources. You're responsible for how you use it. If you're sending cold emails, make sure you comply with local laws. We're not your lawyer.
