Scraping this niche was a nightmare because most loan lead sources are gated behind brokers and pay-per-click funnels. We finally cracked the API to extract raw application data from small business funding directories and aggregator sites. The result is messy, but it's real intent data—not some random contact list. We strip out the junk and give you the raw CSV with phone numbers, emails, and loan amount requested. If you're in the lending space, this is gold.
The usual problem with business loan leads is they're recycled garbage that 50 other brokers have already called. We hit the obscure sources: local chamber of commerce listings, industry-specific forums, and even some state-level grant databases. We found that small businesses applying for SBA-backed loans often leave trails in public records. We combine that with web forms that people fill out on comparison sites—but only the ones that opt-in to sharing. It's not perfect, but it's fresher than anything you'll buy off a list broker.
We spent two months reverse-engineering the anti-bot systems on major small business lending platforms. The key was rotating residential proxies and mimicking human mouse movements. We also used OCR to capture data from CAPTCHA-protected forms. The result is a dataset that includes the loan amount requested, business revenue, and time in business. We update it monthly, but if you need real-time, we have a webhook—but that's a different product. For the CSV, you get the last 30 days of leads, deduplicated and cleansed.
Data Schema & Dictionary
business_name
The legal name of the business as stated in the application. This is the first thing you'll dial into your CRM. If it's missing, skip the lead—it's likely a bust.
contact_phone
Direct phone number provided by the applicant. We've already run it through a basic validity check, but expect some dead ends. The ones that work are worth their weight in gold.
contact_email
Email address the applicant used on the form. We've removed the obviously fake ones, but it's still a raw email. Use it for follow-up sequences, not for cold blasting.
loan_amount_requested
The dollar amount the business is looking to borrow. This is a key qualifier—if you only fund loans under $50k, filter out the big fish. It's also a good indicator of urgency.
business_revenue
Annual revenue reported by the applicant. This helps you pre-qualify based on your risk appetite. Keep in mind, some people inflate this, so take it with a grain of salt.
time_in_business_months
How long the business has been operating. Critical for lenders who prefer established companies. Newer businesses are riskier but also more desperate for capital.
